Sylvia Marsters – New Yorkers Don’t See Flowers 2014.

In 2014, BCA Gallery (Now Bergman Gallery) exhibited at the VOLTA ART FAIR, NYC with artist Sylvia Marsters. The 33 foot installation of 9 paintings was based on a Georgia O’Keefe interview with the New York Post from 1946 in which she talked about flowers in an urban environment. This resonated with Marsters, who generated this body of work as a response. Video by John Beasley.
