What is your background? ‘I thought about my process as an artist using a camera and how I had framed the blackness in my work to be my Vā, my relational space and place of untapped knowledge and understanding that connects all the images I make. This was my diasporic Samoan take on tryng to understand my place in this wider space we all connect and interact with.’
